The children from our Nursery love to visit the residents of our local elderley care home St. Josephs in Tring. The Nursery brings along an activity that the children can do alongside the residents and it is a great opportunity for the children to interact and develop links in our local community.

The children around the Nursery have been learning about Saint David's Day and how it is celebrated. Here are a few photos of some of the wonderful craft activities that have taken place in the different age groups.

The Nursery enjoyed celebrating World Book Day this year. The children and staff had great fun dressing up as their favourite characters from different books. Books are such a valuable learning tool and the Nursery ensures that all children have open access to books throughout their day and that we have regular group and individual story time sessions. The children have been learning about Ramadan this week. We are lucky to have several staff members who observe this celebration and they have talked to the children about how they enjoy this time. One activity that the children were offered was particularly popular.
