We are proud to announce that this week marks our 15th year of being open! Due to covid19 we will celebrate a little differently this year, but we will still have a party tea, cake and lots of balloons. The Nursery will be donating £100 to UNICEF and £100 to NSPCC to mark the occasion. Christmas at the Nursery was very different this year due to the Covid19 pandemic. We were however still able to create lots of wonderful Christmas crafts, decorate our Christmas trees around the building, enjoy our Christmas dinner and have a "virtual Christmas carol concert " for our parents and carers.
The children had a lot of fun learning about Remembrance day this year. The children all observed the one minutes silence and made lots of poppys that decorated the outside and inside of the building. The children also enjoyed watching a childrens video explaining the true meaning of the day.
During the partial closure starting from Monday 23rd March, parents who qualify to still use the nursery will be dropping off and collecting from the front door and not entering the building. Before you hand over your child you will also be asked to steri gel your hands. Any child who is suspected of being unwell in anyway on arrival will not be allowed into the building. The Government has asked Nurseries around the UK to remain partially open for the children of vital keyworkers needing to work during the outbreak of the COVID 19 virus.
