The children have been learning about Ramadan this week. We are lucky to have several staff members who observe this celebration and they have talked to the children about how they enjoy this time.
One activity that the children were offered was particularly popular. Here are some photos of the children painting with a variety of spices, this activity provides an opportunity to learn the names of the spices, smell and touch them and look at the different textures that are created when they are dry or mixed with water to create this individual art work.
