The children celebrated the importance and proud history of VE Day in all rooms around the Nursery. Here is our VE tuff tray, where the children are explored the colours blue, white and red. They have explored colour mixing making pink and purple. The children have counted how many pom poms they have and used their senses smelling and touching the shaving foam. They have been encouraged to share and spoken about VE Day. Jungle room enjoyed their Union Jack rice activity. Of course ...

The Balloon room children had a rather wet but fun learning fishing activity that was targeted at working on their fine motor skills and learning about colours through different activities.

As a Nursery, it is important to us to raise money for a variety of local and worldwide charity's. In our most recent fundraising choice the Nursery has been raising money for a Brain tumour charity. The children and staff had great fun making and decorating hats all week.

It was very hard to pick just a selection of the wonderful Easter activities that took place around the Nursery from easter egg hunts to our favourite tuff tray activities. We are so grateful and proud of our staff team members for always providing such exciting activities for the children to learn through and have fun.
