The children have been learning about Passover this morning. One of our staff members has been sharing with the children about how her family celebrates this time together. The children then took part in exploring different Jewish items and foods before finishing with painting matzo crackers.
The children have been celebrating Earth Day this week. Alongside some wonderfully creative tuff tray activities using small world people and animals, painting with cling film to show their concept of what the Earth looks like. The older children alongside their own craft activities have also talked about the importance of recycling and taking care of animals and plants. The children also took part in a water activity to represent the fact that 71 percent of the worlds surface is covered in water. ...
Pre school have been learning all about space this week. Our home corner has been transformed to reflect this and the children have also created some wonderful artwork to show their understanding and perception of space.
