The children had a lot of fun learning about Remembrance day this year. The children all observed the one minutes silence and made lots of poppys that decorated the outside and inside of the building. The children also enjoyed watching a childrens video explaining the true meaning of the day.
During the partial closure starting from Monday 23rd March, parents who qualify to still use the nursery will be dropping off and collecting from the front door and not entering the building. The Government has asked Nurseries around the UK to remain partially open for the children of vital keyworkers needing to work during the outbreak of the COVID 19 virus. This year for pancake day our Chef Ben used a recipe from BBC food magazine for Crepe Madames. Our Chef used various fillings including asparagus, creme fraiche, ham, cheese, tuna, spinach and egg. The children (and staff!) really enjoyed this recipe.
